Am I a fool to give my heart
And trust my fellow man

I remember when I was a kid
We left our doors unlocked
The neighbors all knew one another
And had parties on their block
Now people break down bolted doors
And take our kids away
People look you in the eye
And lie to you each day
Marriage ending in divorce
Friendships stripped away
I can´t believe we truly want
To continue on this way
When I look around the world today
My heart breaks right in two
There´s so much pain and anger here
I don´t know what to do
